Time for the New State Russia, banner on the building of the State
Museum of Modern Art of the Russian Academy of Arts, Moscow, part of the
exhibition Impossible Communities, curated by Viktor Misiano, september
2011.This Irwin work was on the wall for few days but then museum
director Vasili Tsereteli decided that it has to be taken down since
they have no permission to put it on the building. Officially they are
waiting for some permission to put it on. He also said that some people
called the museum that the message on the banner is problematic.
